Sue Higgason Morrow joined CCSD in 1956.  She taught at various elementary and middle schools in Henderson and participated in many musical events in our community.  Sue was a graduate of Vanderbilt and proud of her Tennessee heritage of family folk song collections. Some of her family’s songs are in the Smithsonian Institution Archives in Washington, D.C. Sue retired in 1990,

and she passed away in 1995.  

Sue H. Morrow Elementary School is named in her honor.
